The hardest part about being a liar is that lies form webs, Save Jerseyans; you’re bound to trip yourself up eventually. Even the best liars do!
Barbara Buono isn’t that good at lying but she still tries her best; check out this latest ad from her press shop:

Did you catch that part about Newark’s 13% unemployment rate?
Cory Booker (ever heard of him? he’s that Twitter guy) is running for U.S. Senate this year touting a heavily-edited version of his record as Newark’s mayor. Booker needs to talk about crazy stuff like massive job-killing minimum wage hikes because he doesn’t have favorable stats upon which to hang his hat, so I wonder how his campaign team feels about their party’s gubernatorial candidate going on network television to trumpet Newark’s abysmal unemployment rate? They most likely wouldn’t appreciate it, and if they’re not too annoyed, it’s only due to the fact that his own race is less than competitive. And by “less than,” I actually mean “not at all.”
Here’s a little free, unsolicited advice going forward, Babs: when no one knows who the hell you are despite a 20 year career in Trenton, you shouldn’t base an entire ad campaign on repeating the other guy’s name more than your own. Otherwise you’re just wasting your own money, and I know you much prefer wasting other folks’ money.
Don't slam Booker he is better than you!
