Democrats have gained financial ground in their effort to retain Barbara Buono’s state senate seats, Save Jerseyans, but the NJ GOP’s ticket is maintaining a slight edge in the LD18 cash-on-hand race, at least as of July 1st:
Stahl for Senate: $97,071.68
Barnes for Senate Election Fund: $94,841.59
“We continue to receive support from small business owners, middle class families and taxpayers who are united behind a message of changing politics as usual in Trenton,” said Mayor David Stahl in a statement released by his campaign. “In East Brunswick, both parties worked together and produced a less expensive and more efficient local government. We put party labels aside to create jobs and lower taxes. With the right leaders in Trenton, the same can be accomplished throughout New Jersey.”
David Stahl reported twice as much cash on hand as his Democrat opponent at the end of May.
