Did Booker Really Save Her?

One of the most popular Cory Booker (D-Twitter) “super-mayor” stories involves a 2012 incident where the part-time Newark Mayor ran into a burning building to successfully save a woman from the flames.

But is it more legend than fact? Did it really happen? In the eleventh hour of the U.S. Senate special election, Save Jerseyans, some curious (and admittedly biased) conservative journalists are questioning the veracity of the heroic fire rescue tale…

The Daily Caller is dumping a number of stories concerning the Newark mayor today which many observers will challenge on the basis of the conservative publication’s controversial (and at least partially-debunked) Menendez Dominican Republic story from last cycle.

  1. I have a question. Were is our Governor? He's been very quiet about this race. He's also been blasting Congress about this 'government shutdown' but he has just about refused to criticize the President about his role in it. Just what is up with that??
