Governor Chris Christie, Governor Susana Martinez (R-NM) and state Senator Brian Stack (D-Union City) rallied tonight with 2,000 supporters in Stack’s Hudson County home base, Save Jerseyans. It was a surreal scene for New Jersey Republicans who aren’t conditioned to seeing mass urban voter mobilization as a good thing on Election Eve, but this is 2013: welcome to the world that Chris Christie built!
The event was particularly gratifying for a Christie campaign that is relying on winning the Hispanic vote to roll up a historic statewide margin on Tuesday; Union City is home to the largest community of Cuban American voters outside of Florida.
