A new FDU poll is showing Chris Christie upside down for the first time in a long time, Save Jerseyans, with 41% of New Jerseyans approving of his job performance and 44% disapproving (click here for the full report).
Governor Christie’s approval rating in November was at 61% among registered voters, roughly mirroring his reelection margin of victory:

Interestingly, however, the public is no more fond of the investigators than the object of their investigation; decisive majorities rate their efforts as only “fair” or downright “poor” thus far. I can’t imagine why…
What’s there to like? In ’09, Christie had the benefit of not being Corzine, and made a few lofty promises he apparently never intended to keep. The conservative good will only went that far, and Democrats’ love ended the moment he stopped publicly fellating their god-king. Stick a harpoon in him, he’s done.
