We made this point back during the primary season when similar allegations were hurled at Tom MacArthur, Save Jerseyans, but it bears repeating given what you’re seeing plastered all over television markets touching South Jersey:
- Tom MacAthur left York Risk Services Group in 2009 and sold his interest in the company back in December 2010.
- The separate and distinct company allegedly responsible for denying firefighters’ insurance claims, Aviznet, was acquired by York in December 2011.
In other words, Tom MacArthur never had any involvement in the ownership or operation of the company allegedly responsible for screwing over firefighters as the DCCC’s latest smear ad would lead you to believe. Period. End or sentence. Fight the lie (one of the most egregious I’ve seen to date) and pass this on…
