Bell Says Christie Will “Do Some Personal Campaigning” for #NJSen

By Matt Rooney | The Save Jersey Blog

Mark LevinShortly after wrapping up a second fall fundraiser with Governor Chris Christie on Tuesday evening, this time in Bernardsville (Somerset County), U.S. Senate nominee Jeff Bell called into the Mark Levin Show and reported that the Republican Governor had been a big help thus far in the campaign.

Levin accepted Bell’s judgment without an argument. The radio host is a notoriously huge Christie critic; back in 2013, he declared “[a]s for Chris Christie, I will do everything I can, in my little way, to make sure he is not the nominee” during a Fox News interview conducted by Neil Cavuto.

Bell announced that Christie had agreed to “do some personal campaigning” with him in the coming weeks but did not supply any details. He also continued to criticize the national GOP for failing to intervene in his race but supplied new details; allegedly the NRSC never even returned his campaign manager’s phone calls after the primary.

The most recent public polling shows Bell running 15-points behind Cory Booker (D-Twitter).

  1. .

Conservatives must put aside their differences with Bell and get out and vote for him in November; SIX MORE YEARS of Cory Booker won’t teach the Establishment anything.

    The Senate is the key!

    Can you say:

Justice of the Supreme Court, Eric Holder?!!!

  2. That may be the #1 issue for Pete, but the #1 issue for most voters might be stopping flights from Ebola infected countries, raising wages and protecting us from terror attacks by enforcing immigration laws, cutting electric and gas bills by not padding them with hidden taxes to pay for useless wind turbines and solar panels–issues that Jeff Bell won’t touch. http://www.libertyandprosperity.org.
