Booker Celebrates “Hero” Carter

By Matt Rooney | The Save Jersey Blog

I know it’s customary to say nice things about old people on the occasion of a milestone birthday, Save Jerseyans, but don’t you think this one is a little… overboard? Even for the King of Twitter?

Hero? Hmm. I wonder if Cory Booker (D-Twitter) is referring to Jimmy Carter’s “heroic” antisemitism? Sweater-wearing plan to combat an epic energy crisis? Bending over backwards for Iran? One wonders… I’m racking my brain over here…

  1. I’m thinking more along the lines of the man who served his country in the Navy for ten years and reached the rank of lieutenant as well as his extensive charity work with Habitat for Humanity.

Furthermore, how is he antisemitic, because he had the audacity to criticize the Israeli government’s tactics in Gaza? So, anybody who disagrees with Israel’s governmental and military policies is antisemitic? Sounds awfully silly to me.

You also seem to have a very short memory, Matt:
