Christie Unpopular in Perennially Wrong Poll

By Matt Rooney | The Save Jersey Blog

Polling StationWe have new Rutgers-Eagleton poll results out today that show Governor Chris Christie’s approval rating upside down at 42% favorable to 45% unfavorable.

Okay. There’s no doubt he’s down across the board from this time last year, Save Jerseyans. No question about it. And most of the reasons for the trend are obvious. But as I have detailed for you in the past, the Rutgers-Eagleton Poll is our state’s least consistent survey. They’ve always got the margin wrong. In every big race. Every single time.

Not trying to be mean but it is what it is.

Just take that for whatever it’s worth. I’m going to continue to take every Rutgers-Eagleton release with a grain of salt until they get one right. Click here if you want to check it out anyway.

  1. Nothing to like about it, but expected it. These kinds of results do not a Presidential campaign make.
