‘Tis the season to lay groundwork for presidential campaigns, Save Jerseyans.
From this week in The Des Moines Register:
Greetings have arrived in mailboxes from at least five Republican possible presidential candidates — Mitt Romney, Ted Cruz, Chris Christie, Rand Paul and Marco Rubio, voters on one or more of the mailing lists told The Des Moines Register. One voter said he got a card, out of the blue, from George W. Bush this year.
Like last year, Christie inscribed a Bible verse on his card. “You will go out in joy and be led forth in peace. Isaiah 55:12,” the New Jersey governor’s 2014 card proclaims. “Wishing you peace and happiness this holiday season and throughout the coming year.” It also includes a photo of his wife, Mary Pat, and their four kids, Bridget, Patrick, Sarah and Andrew, ages 11 to 21.
