Chris Christie just scored a huge public relations coup days after launching his national PAC, Save Jerseyans, scheduling a Wednesday photo spray at New York City’s  Park Lane Hotel with none other than Israeli President Reuven Rivlin.

Rivlin reportedly declined a meeting with President Obama after the White House flipped out over Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s upcoming speech to the U.S. Congress. Obama, vengeful as ever, has taken the unprecedented move of dispatching campaign operatives to Israel to help defeat the PM in the March 17th elections.

The meeting (set for 2:45 p.m..) is a huge get for the Guv at a time when, boxed out of monolithic establishment support in 2016 by Bush and Romney, he’s racing to revive his street cred with the conservative base.

Next up? A visit to London on February 1st…
