It isn’t completely dead yet. Straub has said that there is another hearing on Wednesday. He is trying to get the sale date extended to February 28. Not sure why Revel is so quick to kill the deal unless they have someone else that may be interested. There is a lot of back and forth going on and the media only is getting and reporting a fraction of it.
Here is s much better article by the Press of Atlantic City than the out of state Philadaphia Inquirer article that is provided by Save Jersey.
In the Press of AC article it also states that Revel will not confirm or deny that there is another buyer.
“Revel attorney John Cunningham on Tuesday declined to comment on whether there’s another buyer for the defunct resort.”
