The exceedingly difficult process of recalling Senate President Steve Sweeney is underway, Save Jerseyans, and organizers are hoping a rally will drawn new attention to their cause.
“We have the ability to restore NJ by initiating this recall and having Senator Sweeney kicked out of office for acting in his own interest and not the interests of NJ residents,” reads the Facebook event description for the rally presently planned for Saturday morning, June 27th at an as-of-yet to-be-determined location in Glassboro, New Jersey, at the heart of Sweeney’s Third Legislative District.
Organizers also promise “a national speaker” preceding the circulation of petitions. Stay tuned.
