The ink on his indictment is barely dry, Save Jerseyans, but the court battle over Bob Menendez‘s future is already producing fireworks.
There’s a report about it today from The Associated Press that’s worth reading.
It’s going to be down and dirty. It’ll be bare knuckles, I’m sure,” said Peter Zeidenberg, a former prosecutor in the Justice Department’s vaunted Public Integrity Section, which is handling the case. “From all appearances, it’s going to be a very aggressive defense.”

I am no Senator Menendez fan but any reasonable person can see that Obama had Holder and the Justice Department throw the book at Menendez for disagreeing with Obama.
