Catching New Jersey Democrats and Big Labor-types engaged in minimum wage hypocrisy is one of our favorite games here at Save Jersey.
Next up: Assemblyman Dan Benson (D-14), one of the biggest pro-union boss politicians in the state legislature.
He’s fishing online for paid campaign workers heading into the final pre-election weekend which is totally normal. The problem? His hourly rate isn’t exactly consistent with his espoused values:
Now, I know Assembly Democrats suck at math, but 5 hours at $50 is clearly $10 per hour.
That’s only 2/3 of the $15 per hour minimum wage backed by Benson:

Com’on, Dan! Don’t cheap out. These people are giving up valuable time to help your campaign that they could’ve spent setting up those charming inflatable union rats or volunteering hours at area Planned Parenthood clinics. Dig deeper and give’em their $15/hr…
