Sweeney and Christie are both running for higher office, Save Jerseyans, but Chris Christie just happens to be right on the substance of this 100% politically-motivated gun control debate.
I explained it all before right here and won’t again.
All you need to know that’s new? The latest S2360 override matinee succeeded on Thursday afternoon, 27-12. It’s the first time this has happened since Christie took office back in January 2010. Now the Assembly will need to vote.
No recent mass shootings in NJ but plenty of property taxes. So where does Trenton focus its energies? You guessed it…
Overrides are rare for obvious reasons. The last one I can remember: 1997, when the New Jersey Senate voted to override then- Governor Christine Todd Whitman’s veto of a partial birth abortion ban.
Today’s deciding GOP votes to override, by the way? Christopher Connors (R-9), Kip Batman (R-16), and one other than former Christie ally Joe Kyrillos (R-13)…

NJ doesn’t abide to the Constitution, never has. The Legislators are a joke, a kangaroo court. You people assume anyone who owns a weapon is evil. What’s evil in this State is the Liberal gun grabbing agenda. I hope the Republicans who voted for this have their next job picked out. They’re going to need it.

So this tool thinks you should have to alert the government if you were ever treated for something like…insomnia(a mental disorder) and then request permission to utilize a God given right. Other mental disorders that would be required to be reported are…anorexia and bulimia, cause you might need that gun to not eat…bibliomania, because a fear of books could lead to shooting up some Shakespere…Celebrity Worship syndrome…cause reality TV does that. How about SAD, Seasonal Affective Disorder…winter got ya down? Turn in those guns! The list goes on and on…dyslexia, berevement(yeah being sad is a mental disorder), hypochondria, male erectile disfunction, jealousy, nicotine withdrawal(don’t quit if ya want your guns!) and dozens more so harmless that everyone likely has several of them. Backdoor guncontrol at its finest. Wanna keep the mentally ill from seeing doctors? Make sure to threaten them with the removal of their rights….want to disarm everyone….make everything a mental disorder the government can track and pull your rights away for.
More laws by Democrats ,again enforce the laws on the books already.tax and spend and make more laws thats all the democratic party knows,now you know where my vote is going….
Any one of you “FREEDOM” fanatics can band together and go after the government.
