Atlantic City Council to follow Kurtz’s lead and return taxpayer-funded vehicles

It’s been three weeks, Save Jerseyans, since our friend Atlantic City Councilman Jesse Kurtz took the oath of office, and despite being the lone Republican voice on city council, Kurtz was the deciding vote for Council President and continues to have a major impact on city affairs.

According to The Press of Atlantic City, the Atlantic City Council led by Council President Marty Small were scheduled to run in their controversial city vehicles by noon today. The move comes as whispers of bankruptcy and state takeover have evolved into open speculation.

Jesse, who campaigned on ending this abuse of taxpayer funded resources and refused to accept a vehicle when he was sworn in, took to Facebook when the news broke last night and issued the following statement:
