It could prove to be the most consequential month of Chris Christie’s political career (with one other notable exception). While he has denied the do-or-die nature of the Granite State contest that’s just five short weeks away, he’s also admitted that doing poorly isn’t an option.
What that means is a matter of interpretation, of course.

Even if he comes in first somehow, there’s nowhere for him to go afterward. He does have a great campaign up there though, have to admit. It’s equivalent to Ted Cruz’s nationwide campaign – but in NH (if that makes any sense).
