Happy Easter From Save Jersey

St. Luke’s Church in Ho-Ho-Kus, New Jersey

Jesus Christ is risen today, Save Jerseyans.

Hallelujah! Amen

Where, O death, is your victory?

Where, O death, is your sting?”

Our entire Save Jersey family is wishing yours a happy, healthy, and joyous Easter holiday.

If you’re a Christian? The promise of Christ’s Resurrection – and all that comes with it – is reason enough to celebrate the day with family and friends regardless of whatever else is going right or wrong in your life.

If you’re not a believer? Then today is an opportunity to appreciate how the Judeo-Christian tradition forms the bedrock of our American conception of liberty and justice including our shared belief in the fundamental dignity and worth of all human beings

For a uniquely New Jersey Easter sampling, here’s a particularly beautiful rendition of a celebratory hymn – one of my favorites – as performed by the Shrewsbury, New Jersey Presbyterian Church Bell Choir and Choir (circa 2012):
