Paramus’s Democrat Mayor Falls Victim to Fake Compliment from Miley Cyrus

This is the era of “fake news,” Save Jerseyans, and misinformation is rampant.

We cannot expect every site to have the same high-quality as Save Jersey, but some sites contain a full-blown disclaimer stating that every article is false. One of these sites is WBN12.com. The website contains mostly a copy/paste article of celebrities claiming to have visited different towns and the wonderful experience they had there. Of course, its all blatantly untrue.

Paramus Mayor Rich LaBarbiera (D).

LaBarbiera recently shared the fake post below (in which pop star Miley Cyrus purportedly said “ I’m telling you, these people in Paramus are the real deal.  If I ever retire, I’m moving there!”), presumably to toot his own horn about what a great place Paramus is with him as a leader:

In his quest for self-promotion, looks like this mayor got a little caught up in his own hype!

It happens. Ask Miley.
