“Governor, next time you want to sit on a beach that is closed to the entire world except you, you put your fat ass in a car and go to one that’s open to all your constituents,” the caller (Mike from Montclair) declared during the daily call-in show.
“Interesting, Mike,” Governor Christie said.
“What’s that, Gov?!” Mike exclaimed.
“You know, Mike,” Christie started “I love getting calls from communists in Montclair.”
“You’re a bully, Governor!” Mike countered, talking over the Governor. “And I don’t like bullies!”
“You’re swearing on the air, Mike. You’re a bum!” Christie shot back.
It devolved from there.
Christie is filling in the retiring Mike Francesa today and tomorrow (Tuesday 7/11).
Mike is one of 80% of New Jerseyans who disapprove of their governor in a new poll released Monday.
