WASHINGTON, D.C. — Democrats including New Jersey’s leftist federal legislators are stepping up their criticism of Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) and its immigration enforcement efforts ahead of this fall’s midterm elections, Save Jerseyans, but many of their criticism see less rooted in facts so much as hyperbole designed to whip votes.
A Democrat Senator from Hawaii (Mazie Hirono) questioned ICE official Matthew Albence on Tuesday; amazingly, Albence was forced to explain to her that illegal aliens break the law when they illegally cross the border. Hirono confessed to being “confused.”
