WASHINGTON, D.C. — Cory Booker really made an ass out of himself on Tuesday, Save Jerseyans.
His behavior at the Kavanaugh hearing, in the actual hearing room, was certainly bad enough as liberal protesters disrupted the proceedings and even forced the removal of Kavanaugh’s daughters to protect them from witnessing the ugly scene.
During the hearing? He sent out an e-mail blast titled “Stop Kavanaugh” once again revealing that Booker, who has demanded further vetting of Kavanaugh, has already made up his mind to opposed President Trump’s nominee.
“We can only make a difference if everyone steps off the sidelines. Add your name to join me in this fight and oppose Judge Kavanaugh’s nomination to the Supreme Court,” said Booker. The junior New Jersey senator previously and infamously declared that anyone backing Kavanaugh was “complicit in evil.”
Republican Senator Ben Sasse of Nebraska, who was also at the hearing, responded in kind.
“This stuff will make us sicker, not healthier,” said Sasse via Twitter. “Sending out fundraising emails DURING A HEARING about opposition to a Supreme Court nominee is not the job of a Senator. It is cynical play-acting for a political base.”
Senator Orrin Hatch also weighed in, saying only “I’m just sorry to see the Senate Judiciary Committee descend this way.”

The American people see right through this — and the result will not be more serious deliberation. The result will be (yet again) a smaller Senate, and a more tribal electorate. https://t.co/ErR7XhcQOz
