TRENTON, N.J. – The Democrats’ $15 minimum wage compromise legislation advanced in Trenton today, Save Jerseyans.
Assemblyman Robert Auth (R-29) runs a small North Bergen-based business.
He told the the committee’s attendees that they were making an epic mistake for business owners and employees alike.
“You’re going to hurt the goose that lays the golden egg – the actual employer that provides the jobs for the people in this state,” said Auth. “You’re going to hurt them severely and they’re going to have an exodus that is unparalleled.”
