WASHINGTON, D.C. – Socialist Democrat Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez hit a new low on Monday, comparing the Trump Administration’s steps to contain a growing humanitarian crisis on the U.S.-Mexican border as tantamount to setting up ‘concentration camps.’
“The U.S. is running concentration camps on our southern border and that is exactly what they are. That is exactly what they are. They are concentration camps,” Ocasio-Cortez mused during an Instagram livestream session.

“The fact that concentrations camps are now an institutionalized practice in the Home of the Free is extraordinarily disturbing and we need to do something about it,” she added, a predictable albeit shocking comparison given that she previously compared the fight against climate change to World War II.
Ocasio-Cortez even employed the phrase “never again” which is widely associated with efforts to combat Holocaust ignorance and denial.
