Booker craters, polling at 0% heading into debate #2

DETROIT, MI – This might be Cory Booker’s last presidential debate.

When he takes the stage on Wednesday night in Detroit for round #2 of the second Democrat debate, a stage he barely made, he’ll be grappling with a new national poll showing the junior U.S. Senator from New Jersey at 0% support.

Meanwhile, former Vice President Joe Biden is in a commanding position with 33% according to the latest numbers from Emerson.

Bernie Sanders is in a distant second place position at 20%.

Only four other candidates – Elizabeth (14%),  Kamala Harris (11%), Pete Buttigieg (6%), and Beto O’Rourke (4%) – are polling above 3%.

The criteria for entry into future debates is increasingly rigorous meaning Booker will need to improve dramatically or face early elimination from the 2020 primary contest.
