UPDATE: Bipartisan calls for his ouster increase after local NAACP leader tells reporter: “I don’t talk to f—–g Jews”

SADDLE RIVER, N.J. – The NAACP in New Jersey continues to face unflattering controversy this week after the leader of its Passaic chapter reportedly told a New Jersey Globe reporter “I don’t talk to f—–g Jews.

Democrats want him gone for patently obvious reasons. The latest officials to call for the resignation of Jeffrey Dye – a former Murphy Administration employee – are LD39 Assembly Republicans Holly Schepisi and Bob Auth who represent portions of Passaic County.

“At what point is enough, enough?” Assemblywoman Schepisi said. “This is not Mr. Dye’s first comment like this and his track record of racist and anti-Semitic remarks, whether on Facebook or on the phone with a reporter, disqualifies him from holding a leadership position in any organization in our state. He must resign immediately.”

David Wildstein of the New Jersey Globe – which broke each layer of the Dye story – subsequently reported on Thursday morning that Dye denied making the “f—–g Jews” comment in Facebook tirade; however, the ex-Murphy Administration employee’s barely-comprehensible social media rant included a derogatory conspiracy theory about the “Jewish Media” and “propaganda”:

The Murphy Administration eventually parted ways with Dye, who worked for the state Department of Labor and Workforce Development, but reportedly only after having received warnings about Dye’s past anti-Latino and anti-Semitic comments. The Administration’s hand was forced when Dye’s social media commentary was publicly reported upon.

Dye is only the latest is a growing line of questionable Murphy hires which have caused the Democrat governor and the state serious embarrassment.

“There is no place in New Jersey or Passaic County for such blatant and hateful conduct as Mr.  Dye’s,” added Assemblyman Auth. “We call on all leaders from Passaic County — regardless of race, political affiliation or religion to join us in condemning Mr. Dye’s actions and calling for his immediate resignation as President of the Passaic County NAACP.”
