DENVILLE, N.J. – Anthony Bucco’s and Brian Bergen’s victories on November 5th opened up an Assembly seat in lean-Republican LD25. That’s because Bucco, formerly an Assemblyman, was previously elevated to his late father’s State Senate seat. He controversially remained on the ballot for his old Assembly seat as an Election Day placeholder.
Six candidates are now vying to succeed Bucco at a November 21st special convention.
