Bloomberg suspends campaign after spending about $28M per delegate

NEW YORK CITY, NY – As of Wednesday morning, Mike Bloomberg had spent about $500 million on his unconventional presidential campaign. In the end, the billionaire ex-mayor of New York City netted just 18 Democrat delegates.

That’s over $27.7 million per delegate. Unsurprisingly, Bloomberg also announced on the day after Super Tuesday that he’s suspending his campaign.
