The Murphys stay masked up for their spring break flight to Ireland

Governor Murphy and Queen Tammy are off to Ireland, Save Jerseyans, for a purported “economic development” trip. It’s an excuse to take a vacation under the gise of official business; every governor does it, and we all know that the Murphys view the trappings of high office as more of a right than a privilege.

The trip begins less than one week after a federal judge ended the mask mandate governing air travel.

Unmoved by an end to compulsory masking, the Murphys unsurprisingly broadcast their decision to continue voluntarily masking up in a pre-depature airport photo tweeted out early Sunday:

When will Murphy, his queen, and the other maskers give up their cloth security blankets?

Who knows. The science has long since left them behind.

In fact, the cloth masks utilized by the Murphys are known to be the least effective. If you’re going to wear one for whatever reason? A KN95 or N95 make the most sense.

On a related note, shortly before Easter, we were treated to the results of a comprehensive analysis which confirmed (to the surprise of no one) that New Jersey was one of the nation’s worst-performing states during the Covid-19 pandemic. The Murphys spring break coronavirus theater can’t change that.
