A big old hat tip to the sharp-eyed David Wildstein for catching this one, Save Jerseyans.

Guess who pocketed $5,800 from Bill Gates this week?

Frank Pallone, the long-time Democrat incumbent representing New Jersey’s 6th Congressional District. Confirmation came via a 48-notice filed with the FEC. Gates and Pallone (who serves as chairman of the House Energy & Commerce Committee) share an affinity for junk science re: the climate and pandemics.

According to Open Secrets, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation employees have overwhelmingly backed Democrat candidates with his campaign contributions.

Among the recipients in recent cycles? $19,056 for Cory Booker.
