REPORT: Fetterman blew taxpayer cash on family trip to Ocean City, N.J.

We love tourism dollars here in the Garden State, Save Jerseyans, but our friends across the Delaware River may feel a bit differently about this one.

According The Washington Free Beacon, Pennsylvania Lieutenant Governor John Fetterman and his family took an early summer 2020 trip to Cape May County and incurred a sizable taxpayer expense in the process. Significantly, Fetterman was a leading promoter of coronavirus lockdown measures at the time of his mini vacation:

“Pennsylvania state police spent $3,500 for overtime, food, and lodging during Fetterman’s trip to Ocean City, N.J., from June 24-27, 2020, according to records obtained by the Washington Free Beacon. Fetterman, the Democratic Senate nominee for Pennsylvania, made the trip amid a surge of cases in both New Jersey and Pennsylvania. The Pennsylvania Department of Health warned at the time against nonessential travel. New Jersey’s governor threatened to crack down on Jersey Shore revelers because of a spike in cases there two days before Fetterman’s junket.”

We’re certainly used to covid hypocrisy in New Jersey.

Meanwhile, Leftists continue to make an issue of Dr. Oz’s residency (he recently called North Jersey home).

At least his time in New Jersey is spent on his own dime!

There isn’t a statewide contest in New Jersey this year, but the PA Senate race is considered one of the nation’s most competitive and will help decide whether Republicans can wrest control of the chamber away from Chuck Schumer and his Democrat caucus.
