Murphy heads to White House to discuss teacher shortage he helped create

Teaching has never been an easy job, and it’s gotten harder in the current age of abdicated parental responsibility. The breaking point for many educators came in 2020 when they were forced to “teach” their charges remotely with few available tools to compel participation.

Then, when schools finally reopened, teachers were reluctantly deputized as mask police. They were also forced to get vaxxed or test weekly, and that requirement only recently ended despite the fact that we’ve known for months that the vaccine and boosters don’t prevent transmission of the current variants in circulation.

Lockdowns. Mandates. And as if all of that wasn’t enough, beginning this fall, some teachers will be forced to discuss topics including “gender identity” and the clitoris (!) with school children as young as seven (!!). Parents objecting to these insane new curriculum standards have been attacked by the teacher’s union and labeled extremists, a move which unnecessarily puts teachers in the middle of a brewing conflict between justifiably angry parents and a Trenton establishment populated by political radicals.

It’s against this backdrop that Governor Phil Murphy – the author of all of the above here in New Jersey – will visit the White House today to “brainstorm” (!!!) solutions for the teacher shortage which HE HELPED CREATE (again, see above).

We’ve all heard of dictatorial regimes serving on the U.N. Human Rights Council. Phil Murphy making public schools places where sane people would want to work is still more ridiculous.

By the way: Murphy and his enablers/patrons at the NJEA are pointing the finger at… Chris Christie, who left office over two years before the first Covid-19 case was confirmed in the Garden State.
