There’s every reason to believe that Bergen Republicans, who’ve been on a downward slide for a decade, might be on track for a very good Election Night 2022.
On Saturday, state Senator Holly Schepisi (R-39) addressed an enthusiastic crowd of candidates and Republican troops in Saddle River; it was one stop on a “caravan rally” beginning in Saddle River and concluding in North Arlington.
The veteran legislator not only reminded the crowd that the issues were on the GOP’s side this fall, but she claimed that Bergen Democrats’ own internal polling shows them on track to lose next week. While internal polling remains internal, there has been a palpable uptick in Democrat paid media activity and general panicky behavior in North Jersey over the past week which tracks national polling showing a deteriorating environment for Democrats.
