Belmar GOP campaign headquarters vandalized

Something tells me this one won’t get much mainstream media coverage, Save Jerseyans…

Belmar Republican candidates Mayor Mark Walsifer, Councilman James McCracken, and Council candidate Katrina Clapsis are calling for action today after their headquarters and a second commercial property were vandalized this weekend.

Photos obtained by Save Jersey show damage including the ominous phrase “blood money” written in red across a banner.

The GOP candidates say a police report was filed Sunday morning and an investigation by the Belmar Police is underway.

“We demand that all three Democrat candidates immediately, unequivocally and publicly condemn this unacceptable behavior, and that they assist Belmar police in their investigation should any Democrat candidate or their supporters have any knowledge of this event or its perpetrators,” Mayor Walsifer, Councilman Jim McCracken and Belmar Council candidate Katrina Clapsis said in a joint statement.
