DANGER ZONE: Biden’s approval rating mirrors Trump’s at same point pre-2020 defeat

The drama surround the Donald’s legal woes is a distraction by design, Save Jerseyans. Joe Biden’s polling is softening once again, and his average job approval rating sits at 52% disapprove, 43.3% approve as of Friday March 24th.

That’s an historically ominous place for an incumbent to be when we’re only months (!) aways from the start of the presidential primary season.

On March 24, 2019, Donald Trump’s average job approval rating sat at 53.1% disapprove and 43.1% approve.

On March 24, 2011, Barack Obama was slightly rightside-up at 48.4% approve, 46% disapprove having recovered somewhat from the anti-Obamacare backlash that swept Republicans to power on Capitol Hill in 2010.

On March 24, 2003, riding a wave of patriotic sentiment amid the early days of the ‘War on Terrorism,’ George W. Bush’s approval rating was soaring at 65%+ with less than 30% disapproving.

The bottom line: Joe Biden’s polling is tracking the guy who didn’t win reelection as opposed to the two president of the 21st Century who successfully won second terms in the White House.
