It’s not unusual for the New Jersey State Police (NJSP) to ask the public for help finding a missing resident, but it’s not every day that the state law enforcement agency is looking for one of its own.
The trooper in question went missing on March 19th and, as of Thursday, remained missing.
Details from the NJSP Facebook page:
The New Jersey State Police and the Pennsylvania State Police are seeking the public’s assistance with locating missing and endangered person, Jason Dare, 46, of Cumberland County, NJ.
On March 19, 2023, at approximately 6:51 p.m., Dare was seen walking away from a health facility located in Media, PA. He was observed on video surveillance leaving the facility on foot, wearing a black Carhart jacket, black hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans, and eyeglasses.
