Bernie Sanders dropped a video congratulating 9,000 striking faculty members at Rutgers University on Wednesday, and 2021 GOP gubernatorial nominee Jack Ciattarelli promptly told the geriatric socialist U.S. senator to butt out.
“Notice how Bernie Sanders never mentions students, especially the seniors who are a few weeks away from graduation?” Ciattatelli tweeted. “Maybe that’s why the last time Sanders came to New Jersey to campaign for Phil Murphy, only a few dozen people showed up. Do us a favor Senator – stay in Vermont.”
