One of the tightest races in the state next Tuesday (Primary Day 2023) might be in the 26th Legislative District where four candidates are vying for two nominations on the fall ballot. Educated observers believe the fight between two of the four LD26 GOP Assembly hopefuls – Brian Bergen and Betty Lou DeCroce – could easily come down to the wire.
Both candidates were invited to participate in tonight’s debate co-hosted by Save Jersey and the NJ Globe. Only Bergen agreed to participate; DeCroce accused yours truly and David Wildstein of participating in a conspiracy against her.
An empty chair will (literally) remain open should she change her mind!
