A large-scale protest to the Murphy Administration’s offshore wind scheme attracted both (early) GOP 2025 candidates: Jack Ciattarelli (who announced upon conceding the 2021 general) and NJ 101.5 morning host Bill Spadea (who is believed to be all-but certain to formally enter the race).
The rally came days ahead of the first Democrat hearing on the subject of marine mammals deaths though few observers expect the Thursday’s legislative calendar call to amount to anything more than a late-in-the-game attempt to support the Biden-Murphy wind turbine policy.
Ciattarelli – an ex-Assemblyman on his third run for governor – participated in Saturday’s over-the-bridge march on Long Beach Island.
