Well, we found out back in the spring that the New Jersey Attorney General’s Office was issuing subpoenas to organizations with ties to South Jersey Democrat Machine Boss George Norcross III.
Now we may have more of an idea what exactly the state and federal authorities are investigating, Save Jerseyans.
On Wednesday, the Inky reported that – as summarized by reporter Andrew Seidman on Twitter – that “[t]he NJ atty general and FBI are investigating whether George Norcross and his brother Philip, a prominent lawyer and lobbyist, used their political influence to corruptly acquire real estate in Camden by muscling out rival developers.”

The potentially grim news for South Jersey Democrats comes as the once seemingly invincible political organization is in a fight for its life; Gloucester County and LD4 (which includes a large chunk of Camden County) are on the brink of flipping to Republican control, a development which could relegate Norcross’s organization to its original boundaries from thirty years ago.
Hypothetical criminal action against the Norcross empire could have dire consequences for a 2024 presidential candidate: Chris Christie, a close personal friend and political ally of the man whom he once investigated as U.S. Attorney.
