N.J. school board president reprimanded for opposing Murphy’s mask mandate

What counts as “free speech” in 2023?

It depends whom you ask… and which “speech” you’re voicing!

Take the case of Old Bridge Board of Education President Sal Giordano who, as explained by CentralJersey.com, “has been reprimanded by the state School Ethics Commission for sending an email on his Board account advocating his personal position that school boards and parents should fight the ‘totalitarian’ executive order about masking in public schools during the pandemic.”

We now know beyond any shadow of a doubt that masking kids did more harm than good which alone makes the Commission’s June 27th ruling a prime example of insult compounding injury.

Using a school board account is what appears to have tripped up Giordano, but yet again, if we’re being honest (and we always should be), Giordano’s reprimand is another example of the emerging “two tier” justice system in the United States.

If you challenge the socio-political establishment? You’re punished pursuant to a separate set of rules than the ones which the elites reserve for themselves and those who fall-in behind their preferred, far-Left narrative.

Has Hillary Clinton suffered any legal consequences for mishandling and then deleting thousands of emails improperly housed on a private server? Nope. Giorando has remarkably run into more trouble than Hilldawg for a single opinion-based email sent from his school board account… think about that for a moment!

White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre very clearly violated the HATCH Act by repeatedly invoking “MAGA Republicans” in her official capacity as a federal employee, and yet there’s been no action taken against her.

Back here in New Jersey, Governor Phil Murphy violated his own outdoor gathering limits during the pandemic by marching with BLM protestors. Again, Murphy didn’t suffer any sanctions.

Wrong is wrong, folks. But “right” doesn’t mean very much when those in power believe the rules of ethics are tied to the identity of the speaker… and the substance of the speech.
