Christie tells Morning Joe: U.S. is NOT doing enough for Ukraine?

Chris Christie made a name for himself in the late 2000s/early 2010s by being an unconventional politician. Touching third rails, taking on special interests, and saying “what was on everyone’s mind.”

No more. He did the most conventional thing of all last week for a national candidate: fly to Ukraine for a photo op with President Zelensky. Now he’s back stateside, and Fatty McThunderbiscuits was in studio for Tuesday’s edition of Morning Joe to argue that we’re not sending enough money to Ukraine.

You read that correctly.

“Two thirds of the audience was very supportive of my position on Ukraine, which is that we haven’t done enough,” said Christie, before adding that Biden is still doing a better job than Donald Trump on this front.

Especially in light of what we’re learning about the Biden Crime Family, Burisma, and Hunter’s overseas activities? Christie’s commentary is inarguably an absurd pander to the legacy media outlets upon which he relies for political oxygen. And that’s before you consider we have already sent nearly $80 billion to the war-torn Eastern European nation as of the end of May 2023. Meanwhile, long before the war began, we know that Biden threatened $1 billion in aid to Ukraine in order to ensure that the country’s top prosectur was sacked.

Christie isn’t stupid. He knows the vast majority of the GOP is digusted by his behavior. Remember: a recent poll found he’s the leading candidate for the small pool of Republicans who voted for Joe Biden in 2020.
