He’s running for governor in New Jersey next year, but state Senator Jon Bramnick (R-21) is taking a major detour next week to practice his hobby – standup comedy – in Ron DeSantis’s home state.
Bramnick is apparently booked for February 21st at the “Off the Hook Comedy Club” in Naples, Florida.
“Jon Bramnick holds the title ‘Funniest Lawyer in New Jersey’ after winning contests sponsored by the bar association at Rascals Comedy Club,” the venue’s website explains.
The VIP suite for five people is already sold out (for $250), but VIP ($35) and regular admission ($25) seats are still available.
Bramnick, a liberal Republican and close Phil Murphy ally in the legislature, is running against Jack Ciattarelli for the 2025 GOP gubernatorial nomination. NJ 101.5 host Bill Spadea is also expected to formally join the race later this year.
