Christie says he’s open to a third-party run in 2024

How far is Chris Christie willing to go to remain in the limelight?

On Thursday, the two-time presidential campaign loser and notorious attention whore said he’s open to a third-party “No Labels” run this upcoming November.

“You know, I think the way I would look at it is: I will do whatever I can to try to make sure that the country doesn’t go through the misery of a second Trump term,” Christie told The Axe Files with David Axelrod podcast.

Christie isn’t exactly popular – his polling was consistently worse than the rest of the 2024 GOP field prior to his early departure – but it might not take much to derail Donald Trump’s presidential campaign given that the Trump-Biden rematch is once again expected to end in a close finish.

“No Labels” has suffered a string of recruitment failures in their effort to mount a third-party ticket ahead of November. Are they desperate enough to go with Christie? It seems he’s desperate enough to consider what others have declined and, if it ultimately happens, be responsible for helping reelect Joe Biden.
