On Wednesday April 3rd, Save Jersey will co-host a 90-minute debate between GOP U.S. Senate candidates Curtis Bashaw, Christine Serrano Glassner, and Alex Zdan at 8 PM EST.
Our co-sponsors are The New Jersey Globe, On New Jersey, and Rider University’s Rebovich Institute of New Jersey Politics. Laura Jones of MeTV-WJLP will moderate; my co-panelists will be The Globe‘s David Wildstein and Joey Fox along with Rebovich Institute director and Rider professor Micah Rasmussen.

The GOP contest has been competitive thus far with Bashaw (a developer), Glassner (a mayor) and Zdan each scoring significant county-level endorsements. The primary race could turn on the upcoming conventions in Middlesex and Bergen counties, respectively, later this month. Democrats have had an equally hard-to-call battle between Tammy Murphy and Andy Kim. No Republican has won a New Jersey U.S. Senate race since before the Watergate scandal.
