One month since Election Day.
It is discouraging to watch so many on the Left retreating even further into their shrinking, doctrinaire echo chambers.
They have abandoned their corporate temples of propaganda at MSNBC and CNN. Legacy media news audiences have plummeted 50% since the election.
Recent surveys demonstrate that the audience for Twitter/X now directly reflects the current political leanings of America. Just about a 50/50 split between D’s and R’s. Yet Democrats are running away from this level playing field of competing ideas. Escaping to a bubble called Blue Sky where their power to censor and banish opposing views has been re-enshrined to protect the rickety edifice of their intersectional house of cards.
They are between a rock and a hard place.
Refusing to admit that they have been constantly lied to every day by their heroes in the White House and the prostituted, corporate media.
Yet they can never bring themselves to even consider giving alternative reporting on independent platforms a listen. They have been so thoroughly seduced to believe any journalism beyond the pale of the approved narrative is “Nazi propaganda”.
Their Achilles heel is that they lack the self-awareness to admit that maybe, just maybe, they could be wrong on a few things. So it is never their fault when they lose an election. It is always the voters’ fault.
Too many Americans are too white, racist, homophobic, misogynistic, uneducated, toxic, whatever….to grasp the beauty of the utopian promises of cradle to grave benevolent control of their lives offered by an all-knowing elitist class.
So, for now, we see them retreating to their digital Woke Monasteries to lament the unenlightened choices made by the unwashed masses in the pesky exercise of real “democracy”.
Seems many are embracing a vow of silence.
We will be here waiting in the town square. Happy to debate and confident in the strength of our arguments and our vision for the future of America.
Open your eyes. Open your minds. Come on down. The sunshine feels good. The future is bright.
