BEDMINSTER, N.J. — In his quest to unseat Bonnie Watson Coleman in New Jersey’s 12th Congressional District, Middlesex County attorney Daryl Kipnis got a little help from his friends on Wednesday night at President Donald Trump’s Bedminster golf club.
A full ballroom at the President’s ‘summer White House’ heard from Commissioner Steven Rogers from Nutley, NJ State GOP Chairman Doug Steinhardt, and a small army of other local GOP leaders and personalities.
“Daryl Kipnis for US Congress! Great turn out for a great candidate,” opined Hamilton Councilwoman Ileana Schirmer via social media. “Time to replace Watson-Coleman. Doesn’t matter your party, we simply deserve better!!”
NJ-12 isn’t an easy target for Republicans; it’s a D+16 seat which takes in Princeton, multiple institutions of “higher” learning, piece of four counties and the deep blue state capital, Trenton.
