What Grassley should’ve said to Booker at the Kavanaugh hearing

More documents have been produced for the Kavanaugh confirmation hearings than any history; in fact, there’s nothing unusual about the procedures here, especially relative to recent confirmation proceedings.

None of that prevented Cory Booker (D-Twitter) from making a complete ass out of himself — just like the shrieking protesters who share his wacky sense of what passes as ‘civility’ — at Monday’s hearing as Democrat attempted to secure a postponement…

“I appeal to your sense of fairness and decency, your commitments that you’ve made to transparency,” Booker continued.

“I think you are taking advantage of my decency and integrity,” Chairman Chuck Grassley shot back.

Fair point!

But what Senator Grassley should’ve said (and I already have): Cory Booker already declared this man, and anyone supporting him, “evil.”

So Booker demands are clearly what we call “bad faith asks.” He isn’t interested in transparency, integrity, fairness or decency. He’s interested in getting headlines in liberal publications ahead of his anticipated 2020 presidential run.

Republicans with national platforms need to call Cory Booker out for what he is.
