MT. HOLLY, N.J. — Bob Hugin is leading Democrat incumbent Bob Menendez in a critical Election 2018 battleground.
According to a new Stockton University survey, Hugin leads by 9-points, 49% to 40%, while Libertarian Murray Sabrin fetches 4%. Another 8% remain undecided or named another candidate.
Party enthusiasm is key. 91% of NJ-03 Republicans back Hugin while only 78% of NJ-03 Democrats plan to cast a ballot for Menendez. 15% of Democrats are either undecided or plan to vote for someone who isn’t an “R” or a “D.”
